Here is your itinerary for the day:
- Starting point: Our tour will start from Gjirokaster at 8:30 AM, where our expert guide will greet you and provide an overview of the day's itinerary.
- First stop - Permet: Our first destination is Permet, a picturesque town known for its beautiful natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Here, we will visit the historic Çarshia e Vjetër, a traditional bazaar that has been the hub of Permet's commercial and cultural life for centuries. Our guide will take you on a leisurely walk through the bazaar, where you'll have the opportunity to interact with local merchants and artisans, learn about traditional crafts and customs, and sample some of the region's most delicious foods and drinks.
- Selcke - swimming: After exploring the bazaar, we will head to Selcke, a beautiful location where we will enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the river Vjosa. Surrounded by stunning natural scenery, this is the perfect spot to relax and unwind, soak up the sun, and take a dip in the refreshing waters. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, swim, and take some unforgettable photos from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Lunch in Polican: Our next stop is Polican, where we will enjoy a delicious traditional Albanian lunch and take in the beautiful scenery. This is a great opportunity to learn about the local culture and customs, as well as to sample some of the region's most famous dishes, such as qofte (meatballs), tavë kosi (baked lamb with yogurt), and fasule (bean stew).
- Sheper village: After lunch, we will head to a nearby Sheper village, where we will learn about the traditional way of life of Albania's shepherds. Here, you'll have the opportunity to see how cheese is made using traditional methods, learn about the unique cultural traditions and customs of the region's shepherds, and sample some of the delicious local cheese.
- Cajup - rich water source: After our visit to the Sheper village, we will head to Cajup, a place known for its rich water source. You'll have some time to explore the area and take in the stunning views, including the beautiful mountain scenery, rushing streams, and lush forests. Our guide will take you on a leisurely hike through the area, where you'll have the opportunity to take some unforgettable photos, interact with local wildlife, and learn about the unique ecology of the region.
- Return to Gjirokaster: Finally, we will head back to Gjirokaster, arriving at around 6:20 PM, where our guide will bid you farewell and you'll be left with unforgettable memories of your 4x4+Cultural+Swimming tour.
