Day 1
- Departure: Our tour will depart from Gjirokaster at 10:00 AM.
- Coffee break: We will make a stop at Libohova's 5-century plan tree for a coffee break at 10:30 AM. This is a perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of the area.
- Visiting historical sites: Our next stop will be to visit some of the most important historical sites in the region, including the Pagan’s graves, Shanisha’s grave, Mufit Bey Sarayes, Castle of Libohova, Clock Tower, Avni Rustemi memorial, Isufati’s Old Entrance. Our knowledgeable guide will provide you with interesting insights into the history and significance of each site.
- Traditional lunch: At 1:00 PM, we will enjoy a delicious traditional Albanian lunch, giving you a chance to sample some of the local dishes.
- Visiting a sacred place and Dairy factory: After lunch, we will visit a magnificent sacred place and the first dairy factory in Albania. Here you will learn about the process of making traditional Albanian cheese and other dairy products, as well as the history of this important site.
- Return to Gjirokaster: We will then return to Gjirokaster at 3:30 PM, ending our tour.
