Day 1
- 10:00 am - Departure from Gjirokaster: Our guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Gjirokaster and take you to Doftia’s Lake, where your fishing adventure begins.
- 10:40 am - Arrival at Doftia’s Lake: Once we arrive at the lake, we will provide you with all the necessary fishing gear and equipment, as well as a brief overview of the area's history, culture, and fishing techniques.
- 11:00 am-1:00 pm - Fishing: Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time fishing in the calm waters of the lake. You will be surrounded by stunning natural beauty and can expect to catch a variety of fish such as trout, carp, and perch.
- 1:00 pm-2:00 pm - Lunch at a sacred place: After a successful morning of fishing, we will head to a nearby sacred site to enjoy a traditional Albanian lunch. You'll have the chance to taste local delicacies and immerse yourself in the local culture.
- 2:00 pm-2:30 pm - Walking the old Madam’s Bridge: After lunch, we will take a stroll across the old Madam's Bridge, which offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
- 2:30 pm-3:30 pm - Visiting Labove’s Church: We will then visit Labove's beautiful church, which dates back to the 16th century. Our knowledgeable guide will provide you with fascinating insights into the history and significance of this important landmark.
- 4:00 pm-5:30 pm - Return to Gjirokastra: After a day filled with fishing, culture, and adventure, we will return to Gjirokastra, where our tour will come to an end.
