Here is your itinerary for the day:
- Departure: Our tour will start from your accommodation and we will head to Tepelena, a small town in Southern Albania, known for its rich history and Ali Pasha's castle overlooking the Vjosa Valley.
- Canyon Climbing: We'll start climbing the famous Benca River deep Canyon, where an old stone aqueduct awaits to be photographed. We'll climb the serpentine track on the slope of the mountain to reach Progonati’s Canyons.
- Traditional lunch: By lunchtime, we'll reach the village where traditional dishes and organic food will be served and tasted. You'll have a chance to enjoy the fascinating view of the Canyons and take photos.
- Visit Nivica and the ancient castle: After lunch, we'll visit Nivica and explore the ancient castle.
- Off-road adventure: We'll hit an off-road track to Golem on steep rocky terrain, negotiating mountain slopes and narrow valleys until we reach the village. After a short break, we'll drive down to Picar on a panoramic road among mountains and deep valleys till we reach Drino's valley.
- River Adventure: We'll enter the river and enjoy technical driving in its bed. As the sun sets, we'll head back to Gjirokastra.
- Return: We'll return to your accommodation in Gjirokastra after a 7-hour adventure.
- Tour Type: This is a daily tour that lasts for 7 hours, and there is no maximum limit on the number of people who can join the tour.
