- Departure: The start time of the tour is entirely up to you, giving you the flexibility to plan your day as you wish. We will meet you at your preferred location in Gjirokaster, and from there, we will start our journey to the Monastery of Spile & the church of Saint Mary(1620), on the slope of Lungeria Mountain, 2 km far from Antigonea Archeological park, a pictures gem of the cultural heritage of Albania.
- Scenic drive: Then drive towards Antigone, and enjoy the stunning scenery of the Albanian countryside. Your guide will provide you with information about the area and the significance of the landscape.
- Arrival at Antigonea: Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the sight of the ancient ruins of Antigonea. Be prepared to spend around 2 hours exploring the city, enjoying the old ruins, and feeling the history. This city dates back to 295 BC and is full of stories and secrets. As you wander through the ruins, you will get a sense of what life was like in ancient times.
- Guided tour: You will be accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who will provide you with insights and stories about the city's history, culture, and architecture. As you walk through the city, your guide will share with you the stories and legends of Antigonea, giving you a glimpse into the past.
- Explore the ruins: After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore the city at your own pace. Take a closer look at some of the structures, relax, and enjoy the surroundings, or simply take some time to reflect on the ancient history and the significance of the site.
- Picnic lunch: Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in a scenic location. Our picnic baskets are filled with local delicacies, allowing you to try some of the region's traditional cuisine. Sit back, relax, and enjoy your lunch while taking in the stunning views around you.
- Visit nearby attractions: After lunch, we will visit nearby attractions such as the Church of Labova e Kryqit. These historic landmarks are full of stories and legends, giving you a deeper insight into the culture and history of Albania.
- Return to Gjirokaster: After we visit the nearby attractions, we will return to Gjirokaster, ending our tour.
