Our journey begins in Cerciz Topulli Square, Gjirokastra. As we leave the stone city behind, we drive through the Drino Valley, heading toward the birthplace of Ali Pasha.

Arriving in Tepelena, we visit the mighty Ali Pasha’s Castle, built along the Vjosa River. Stroll through its ruins as we uncover the dramatic life of Ali Pasha, from his rise to power to his brutal downfall. Enjoy a 2-hour drive through the mountainous landscapes of southern Albania as we return to Gjirokastra.
