Here is your itinerary for the day:
- Gathering point: We will gather at Cerciz square at 10:00 AM, where our knowledgeable guide will introduce you to the history and significance of the old bazaar.
- Visit to the Castle: Our first stop will be a visit to the cold war tunnel.
- Characteristic House Tour: We will then visit one of the characteristic houses in the old bazaar, either Skendulatet or Zekatet, to learn about the unique architecture and lifestyle of the area. Additionally, we will visit either the house of Hoxha & Kadare, two of the most prominent figures in Albanian history and literature. Tnan we will museum of palorto mosque.
- The highest urban point: where the flag was raised and where you will have a good view of the city.
- The castle of gjirokastra: the longest castle in Europe rich in history and the gun museum
- Then visit the Obelisk where you will enjoy a magical view of Gjirokastra. After that we can all enjoy the delicious traditional cuisine.
- Lunch: After the workshops, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at the Edua restaurant.
- After that, you can pay a visit to the local stores in the old bazaar.
